First, we went to MD, and Lukas has the opportunity to go hunting for the first time. They didn’t get any shots but seemed to have fun. We also went fishing, biked, climbed around in the barns and had fun reconnecting. On Thursday, we had an Estevez Turkey trot. But first, we had to decorate our race t-shirts, which was a huge hit!! No surprise, Chris took first place! We all had a lot of fun cheering each other along and enjoying the treats Grandma arranged! Then there was more fishing, biking, coloring, and all around silliness, plus a tremendous amount of delicious food!! (PS Chris deserves most of the photo credits!!)
Next, we enjoyed Pfeiffer thanksgiving at Jenna and Jordan’s. This is where Mike gets his cousin time in! And the little guys I can’t remember if they’re third cousins something removed or what but I call them cousins.
And finally, we had Mikes family up for an immediate family gathering. Again, reuniting and reconnecting with everyone was special. There were a lot of laughs and quite a bit of delicious food here too! We all pretty much forgot to take photos -- oops!!
