Thanksgiving this year was delicious and fun. Mike was on call but we made the best of it and had 3 nice dinners over the course of the weekend. On Thursday, I hosted the annual Creekside 1K for the kids and it was a ton of fun! Lukas won, just inching out last years winner (Easton)! Nick also ran and did very well. Jake and Jayden were in the little kid cheering squad. One of our neighbors (John Rutt), a former college rugby player, led the kids in a stretching routine before the race which was hilarious and cute. Lots of happy people! Catherine and Ellie also joined us which was a special treat, and the kids got some bonus cousin time. Grandpa was with us all day long and we tried out his stilts and pogo stick! The Turkey turned out yummy too. Friday, we visited Adam and Sabrina’s for Pfeiffer Christmas and enjoyed celebrating with that group for the first time in almost 2 years. Saturday we headed to the farm for crafts, football, fun and a delicious no-repeats (crab & ham) dinner. We had a wonderful time and finished the weekend thankful beyond measure for such a blessed time with family.
Now and always, supremely thankful for these beautiful people we get to call our family. Blessed to celebrate and spend our lives with you!
