Nicholas' Welcome Home - the Pfeiffer Forever Family Party

Although we don't have many pictures, we had about 70 wonderful people at our home to celebrate our adoption.  Piazza Sorrento catered a delicious lunch and dinner so that Mike and I could focus on our guests and our guest of honor.  Nicholas did well being passed around among all the friends and family who love him but who he really doesn't know yet.  We had a beautiful slide show with pictures from our journey to California recounting the stories which everyone seemed to enjoy.  In lieu of gifts, we collected donations for Morning Star Pregnancy services, a local crisis pregnancy center, and dropped off more than a dozen packages of diapers and formula for local Moms!  Many of our guests also wrote "thank you" notes to Christy which we are sending to her this week.  They were beautiful letters which we're certain she'll cherish.  We appreciated everyone's thoughtfulness.  It was a weekend we won't soon forget.  Thank you to everyone who helped and joined us in celebration.  We love you so much!!
