The new norm (from behind my iPhone)

Things around here have started to settle down into a very fun new normal.  We are loving life.

Cooking is still one of our favorites... especially when it involves licking batter and icing!

Daddy reading to his boys:

"You know you shouldn't use electronics over water"

Our annual trip to the farm show was as much fun as usual, although Lukas was disappointed we didn't pick the day with the tractor pull (which he remembered from last year!)

The puzzle and lego master is back to his work:

One of our five fish died... His name was Nemo.  Here is the picture Lukas drew to remember Nemo.  He sounded out and spelled and wrote his name all on his own (with only a little help from Mommy.  You can see Lukas signed his work in the upper right corner.  In the picture, you see a purple tongue, two blue eyes, several fins on each side of his face and a long body and tail.  The swirly stuff underneath is fish food.
And as you might expect, Nemo's death has spurred some interesting conversations in our house almost everyday since....
So how does the toilet lead to heaven?
So when things are dead they're really dead? Until God makes a new different one?
So when Ruby dies we will just go to the pet shop and buy a new puppy?
Maybe Me and You and Daddy and Ruby will all die on the same day?
Momma, I hope we just live forever. I hope we just live for super ever.
...Maybe we shouldn't talk about dying anymore. It might hurt someone's feelings.

Lukas got a haircut!
