At Christmas, Jeannette got us all water guns, with hopes of having a summer trip with all her kids and grandkids together. So, we had to get a little creative with the location, since Matt and Jennie are in NC and the rest of us are in PA. About four hours for everyone, just outside of Richmond, VA, is a delightful State Park that we loved! And, the rest is history!
Ready to leave Timber Lane: "Happy Fourth of July!"
All packed up on Altland Ave!
Ruby and Lukas are comfortable for the long ride!
At Pocahantas, we got a "Buddy Site" which was 3 sites grouped together. Each family set up in their own individual site but we used the center location, Grandma and Grandpas, for all the campfires and food gatherings. Ruby was tied up in between ours and theirs and everyone thought it was a perfect set up!
Our campsite above. Note the dog crate off to the right, for Ruby when we all left the campsite.
