Adoption Camp 23

This year we retreated to Camp Hebron for another week of connection with one another, nature and God. That’s their mission and it sure is always accomplished when we’re there!! We’ve kept in touch with many friends and were so happy to be reunited with them. We played more games than ever, we’re reminded of some great truths and made some new friends too. This year we stayed on campus in the dorms at Sylvan which was more convenient as the tweenager likes to stay up late with friends nowadays. Lukas and Nicholas had big packs of friends they were able to identify and bond with. 

Here’s our lovely family photo which several people complimented us on!! LOL. (By now, you all know that Nick hates forced photos with a passion and has taken to doing anything he can to make them unpleasant for everyone. This is an ongoing but very slow process of acceptance for me!!)

So many fun activities!! Noah’s ark petting zoo, floor hockey, shaving cream battle (no, Jacob doesn’t participate, too messy for him), Gold Rush, the lake, Gaga ball, the high ropes course (only Luke is old enough)
