We were thankful to celebrate thanksgiving this year with many family and friends. Almost the whole neighborhood came out for the Creekside 1K. And then Grandpa came up to enjoy some Turkey dinner with us. On Friday we saw all the Pfeiffer’s and on Saturday most of the Estevez crew. It was nice having a low stress holiday, after a couple of years of pandemic holiday stress. The kids had tons of fun with neighbors and cousins, and we were also thankful that Mike wasn’t on call at all.
These boys just go into full time entertainment mode when their baby cousins are around!!
Nick won the turkey trot by a long shot - as he was the only bike rider. Lukas came in second in his age group, as did Jacob, who ran it in about 5 minutes, Luke about 30 seconds faster. (Mommy was too distracted and forgot to hit the timer!)
