Bird watching

This spring, as we’ve spent even more time than usual in the woods - building the tree house - I was able to recognize a large bird nest just behind our property line.

A day prior, Jayden (our eagle eye) had spotted a bald eagle nearby so I had my hopes up, but quickly discovered that it was red tailed hawks. And they seemed to have eggs! So we kept watch as the leaves began to fill in on the spring trees, at which time I began to think the babies had been born.

Finally, I told our tech savvy neighbor friend, David, who has a drone.
