Look who’s five

Jacob had a good birthday weekend visiting “baby” Ellie; where we had fun catching up, visiting a few parks, playing football, and making applesauce while we all marveled at practically everything Ellie said and did!  She is, I guess they all are, growing so fast. 

Cousins time is the best time. 

Then we started off our first week of camps and swimming lessons for summer break! He also decorated his own cake, with an excavator of course, and was thrilled to receive a stuffed turtle (rather than the real one he asked for) and another excavator for his collection. He remains steadfastly fixated on excavators and all things construction, most certainly wanting to be a construction man when he grows up - so much so that he’s even turned down a marriage request from his best friend, Jo, because he’s not sure he can have them both (the construction career and marriage).  He also wishes his hands could become excavator arms!!! He’s a true sweetheart and dearly loved by us all.  Happy birthday little guy!!!
