Camping at Pinchot '14

This weekend we had a blast with a very short camping trip to Pinchot with the Sprenkles. (Yes the number of pictures are way out of proportion to the time spent (36 hours)!)

It seems no matter how big your vehicle, you can always fill it when headed on a camping trip!

The guys picked these two sites, close together so we could share a campfire and food.  It worked out perfectly.  The boys (Evan, Carter, and Lukas) all got along great and were pretty well behaved (most of the time).  We did a ton of fun activities, playground, sandbox (aka volleyball court), hiking, "swimming," canoeing, bike rides and campfires.  Time went by slow and we all enjoyed every second!

Hunting Crawfish - they were everywhere!

I call this shot, "wonder," it's just a gumball from a tree but it's a good picture of the true wonder (however fleeting) that Lukas experiences with all kinds of small things.  Gotta love it.
Gotta let it take you back to that time when even the small things were wonderful!

Mommy's favorite 'cuddle-muffins' pretending while packing up!
