2013 has started off fun!
However, much to my dismay, Lukas needed his first haircut.
Even Grandpa Pfeiffer (Paul Jr, who is usually on my side!) thought so!
We went to "Master Cuts" and Lukas did great.
Although he looks sad in these pictures,
he really didnt fuss or seem to care at all.
Daddy had a show playing on his iphone which was sufficient distraction!

Doc McPfeiffers
So, we have a running joke around here that Lukas knows his daddy is a doctor, but he does not know his mommy is one too though. We think he thinks mommy's a professional shopper. Or something like that... And, Jess is not a professional nanny, when she comes over, she comes to play; of course. We think he thinks she works at the gym. So anyways, the point being, that we don't put too much emphasis on the whole mom and dad are doctors thing. But, this past week, he started watching a show on Disney called "Doc McStuffins" where an adorable cartoon girl diagnoses her toys and gives them 'check-ups'. Ever since he started watching this, he has been asking us to help him give his toys check-ups. He even got out the old stethescope Mike had when he was a kid! It was pretty cute. So then we had to get out the real thing and let him hear... which he did. He kept saying, "Mommy I hear it" and "Mommy I hear noises" and then he'd whip the stethescope out of his ears, because it hurts! Here are some of the best pics of Doc McPfeiffer at work:
And, just in case you've been wondering, yes Lukas is still running:
| His hands are in his pockets, it's chilly out! |
| Like every kid, he likes to walk on the edges... When he got to the end of the yellow he just stopped, unsure where to go! |

Puzzles!
Today he did 9 puzzles in a row (these pictures are taken after #8). The first 8 puzzles he did with absolutely zero help. The 9th is a bit bigger and I helped with about 3 peices. He has great concentration and is so proud of himself. We are proud of him too!!
Here he is giving himself the double thumbs up:
Ok, that's all for now.
Love y'all!
I love this...Abi enjoys watching Doc McStuffins as well and she got a "doctor kit" for Christmas. She even took it to her doctor appointment and examined the doctor. So cute and so fun.
