We convened in Southern Maryland for a full family gathering. Joe and Andrea were in town with their kids, so Catherine/Jon plus Mike and I came up/down as well and took over the place for a few days. We swam, ate, chatted, played frisbee, walked to the pond, fished, caught fireflies, captured photos and loved on each other. Everyone had fun and reconnected, made jokes and memories and solidified bonds. It was awesome! Mom and Dad/ Grandma and Pop also did a ton of work to host us all but seemed to enjoy every minute of the sacrifices, work and devotion! What a special time for us all. As usual, it was hard to pick the favorite photos from this trip, but here's a snapshot!
Pop took the grandkids on nature drives every evening and they spotted some cool wildlife.
I love how connected William was to my kids this weekend! Such a sweetie!
Fireflies. Fun watching the next generation make memories this way, I’m guessing they’ll stick around for their whole lives, just like mine have.
Little bday singing and spoiling for Jacob!
Nick enjoyed having a captive audience and getting to know his uncles and second cousins more!
Jayden was in the water ALL the time, really learning and expanding his skills!!
So thankful to have a bunch of sweet family photos to come home with as well!
