Many of the creatures in this family are happiest outdoors, which makes winter a little tough. Thankfully we're pretty cold-tolerant, especially our newest member which is funny since he's a Californian ;) Although there's been more cold rain and wind than we'd like, there have also been some really mild days and also one good snow storm already, which we have thoroughly enjoyed! The day of the first big snow, it didn't really start until afternoon, so when I went to pick up the little guys from school they were ecstatic :) There was quite a bit of sledding on the hill behind our driveway, by almost every member of the neighborhood 10 or younger, for about a week straight because the snow really stuck around.
After Christmas, when the snow was all gone, we also had a really nice day where we hiked up to Chickies Rock again, showing Jayden the views for the first time. Everyone had a blast.
